Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will speak to film union members in Hyderabad on Tuesday, October 28, before the Jubilee Hills by-elections.
The event, hosted by the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation and the 24 crafts union, takes place at Police Ground in Yousufguda. These groups are thanking CM Revanth for settling disputes between film producers and craftsmen.
This gathering is seen as a boost for the Congress party’s campaign in the Jubilee Hills by-election. The guest list is unknown, but the presence of Akkineni Nagarjuna and Allu Arjun would suggest the government and industry have mended ties.
Reddy will conduct roadshows on October 30, 31, and again on November 4 and 5, as the campaign nears its end. Congress officials say his involvement aims to strengthen the party’s standing in the area, where internal reports show positive trends.
Several cabinet members are already campaigning, with three ministers managing specific zones for booth operations. Naveen Yadav is running as the Congress candidate against Maganti Sunitha of the Bharat Rahstra Samithi (BRS).
The by-election is scheduled for November 11, with results announced on November 14.
