Telangana Cyber Security Bureau Warns Against Spreading Fake News About Operation Sindoor

India recently launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terror camps across the Line of Control (LOC) in Pakistan. Following this action, the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TCSB) has issued a strong warning to the public.

The Bureau urged people not to spread fake news or misleading information related to the military operation. This includes sharing false content on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Officials stated that anyone found spreading false claims—whether by posting, forwarding, or commenting—will face serious consequences. The Bureau emphasized that they are actively tracking social media for such content.

To help stop the spread of misinformation, the Bureau asked citizens to stay alert. If someone comes across fake or harmful posts, they can report them directly via WhatsApp at 8712672222.
