Gadwal: On Tuesday, Telangana DGP Jitender received an invitation to attend the Devi Sharannavaratri Brahmotsavam at the Jogulamba Bala Brahmeshwara Swamy temple in Alampur. This temple is the only Shakti Peetha in the state. The grand festival will take place from October 3 to October 12.
The invitation was delivered to DGP Jitender by Executive Officer Purender Kumar and Chief Priest Brahmasri Dindigul Anand Sharma, who represented the temple.
They also extended the invitation to Additional DGP Mahesh Bhagwat and IG M. Ramesh. During the meeting, they presented the temple’s prasadam and offered the sacred ‘Sesha Vastras’ of the goddess, along with Vedic blessings.
