Telangana Facility Management Council Hosts Successful 11th National NEO-FM Summit 2025

Hyderabad recently hosted the 11th National NEO-FM Summit 2025 at the Address Convention Center on May 30. Organized by the Telangana Facility Management Council (TFMC), the event focused on sustainability, innovation, and future technologies within facility management. The summit attracted 800 companies, marking it as a pivotal event for India’s IT and IT-enabled Services sector. Led by TFMC President Satyanarayana Mathala, discussions revolved around how AI and sustainable practices are set to revolutionize facility management. TFMC also announced the creation of an Advisory Committee on infrastructure during the event.

Prominent figures such as Bhavesh Mishra IAS (Deputy Secretary, IT/ITeS, Government of Telangana), Divya Devarajan IAS (Collector, Adilabad), Murali Varadarajan (CSO, L&T Metro Rail), and Dr. Adarsh (Director, KIMS Sunshine Hospitals) attended. The summit also honored frontline workers from TGSRTC, HMWSSB, and the Traffic Police for their service.

With the theme “Sustainable Facilities for the Future: AI & Green Initiatives,” the summit explored integrating technologies like AI and IoT into facility management. Over 800 industry professionals, leaders, and government officials participated in interactive workshops, roundtable talks, and exhibitions showcasing the latest FM products and software.

Awards recognized excellence in sustainability and social responsibility. Green Awards were given to Hyderabad‘s IT parks and communities for sustainable practices. The TFMC Social Excellence Awards praised government departments for social responsibility, with L&T Metro Rail receiving the Best Greening the Future Award. In total, 42 awards were distributed across various sectors.

Discussions covered implementing sustainable practices in Hyderabad’s IT parks and communities. Topics included green building certifications, energy efficiency, and waste management. Panels discussed AI-powered FM software and smart building systems, while workshops focused on hybrid work models, employee safety, and workplace ergonomics.
