On World Disability Day, a significant partnership was formed in Secunderabad. The National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (NIEPID) joined forces with the Divi’s Foundation for Gifted Children (DFGC). This collaboration aims to enhance services for children with developmental disabilities.
NIEPID brings its expertise in disability empowerment to the table, while DFGC contributes its growing experience in developmental care and community programs. Together, they plan to work on early detection and intervention, train professionals and caregivers, conduct joint research, and promote community awareness and inclusion.
A joint committee will oversee this partnership for the next three years. Their goal is to ensure effective collaboration, share knowledge, and achieve tangible results. By signing this agreement on World Disability Day, both institutions highlight their dedication to creating better support systems. This initiative is designed to help children with developmental challenges receive the care they need to succeed.
