Hyderabad: Telangana has initiated significant reforms across the Revenue, Survey, and Registration Departments over the last two years to enhance public convenience, said State Minister for Revenue, Housing, and Information & Public Relations, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
The Minister addressed the media in his chamber in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat on Wednesday.
Single-Page Digitalization by January
Minister Srinivas Reddy stated that, as per the directions of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the government will introduce single-page digitalization integrating all information related to the Revenue, Survey, and Registration Departments by the end of January next year.
He further confirmed that the Dharani portal and its associated app will be completely removed, and the National Informatics Centre (NIC) is already working on the transition.
Survey Completed in Five Villages Without Existing Maps
The Minister explained that in 413 villages across Telangana where village maps do not exist, the government initiated a pilot project in five villages, completing key tasks such as boundary demarcation and assignment of Bhoodhaar numbers.
Bhoodhaar cards for these five villages are now ready, he said.
For the remaining villages:

373 villages (excluding urban areas) will be covered in the second phase of surveys.

In the third phase, 70 villages per district will be surveyed and issued Bhoodhaar cards.
Pending Land Issue Applications to Be Cleared by January
Minister Srinivas Reddy announced that all eligible pending applications related to land issues will be resolved by the end of January.
Following this, the government will establish tribunals to handle future disputes and grievances.
Forensic Audit Underway in Two Districts
To identify irregularities committed during the previous government’s tenure, the state has initiated a forensic audit in two districts, the Minister said. Once findings are received, the audit framework will be expanded statewide, and strict action will be taken against those involved in illegal activities.
Senior officials, including Revenue Secretary Lokesh Kumar and Stamps & Registration Secretary Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, participated in the meeting.
