Telangana for Peace and Unity: Constitution Celebration March in Hyderabad

A Hyderabad communal harmony march took place on Sunday evening. The event was organized by Jana Gana Mana Abhiyan and Telangana for Peace and Unity. It aimed to celebrate and protect the Constitution and communal harmony. Many people, including social activists, students, and professionals, participated in the march. They walked from People’s Plaza to the statue of B.R. Ambedkar. At the end of the march, citizens formed a circle and read the Constitution’s preamble in English, Telugu, and Urdu.

During the Telangana peace and unity movement, participants expressed their pride in India’s Constitutional values, such as democracy, secularism, justice, liberty, equality, and brotherhood. They pledged to work together to uphold these values. Messages like “Hindu Muslim Sikh Isaai, Aapas mein hain behen, bhai,” “Hamara Bharat, Sabka Bharat,” and “Save Constitution, Save Democracy,” were chanted with enthusiasm and pride. Participants were passionate about raising awareness for the protection of the Constitution.

The event aimed to foster a sense of unity and promote the importance of the Constitution in maintaining peace and harmony in society.
