Hyderabad: The State Government is planning to celebrate the Bathukamma festival in a grand way from October 2 to October 10.
The festival will begin with ‘Engilipula’ Bathukamma on October 2 and end with Saddula Bathukamma on October 10.
Throughout the 10-day festival, the State Culture Department will organize daily cultural events at Ravindra Bharati. These events will include musical programs, drama, stage plays, and special cultural performances by women. There will also be sessions about the importance of preserving the environment through the flower festival.
Famous poets, musicians, folk artists, and other performers have been invited to take part in these cultural activities. Additionally, the government will honor people who have excelled in different art forms.
