Text Size: 100%

The Telangana government has set up a Cabinet Sub-Committee to tackle long-standing issues faced by state employees. These employees are primarily represented by the Joint Action Committee (JAC), a group that has been pushing for better working conditions and other demands.

This new committee will be led by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. Other important ministers like M. Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, and K. Keshava Rao will also be part of the committee.

The decision to form the sub-committee comes after ongoing protests from government employees. They have been asking for salary increases and the fulfilment of promises made by the state government in the past. The JAC has been actively negotiating with the state to address these concerns.
