    A committee has been formed to select the recipient of the ‘Kaloji Narayana Rao Award’ for 2024. The committee will be led by the well-known poet Andesri.

    Other members of the committee include literary figures Enugu Narasimha Reddy, Sanganabhatla Narsaiah, and Potlapalli Srinivas. Mamidi Harikrishna will serve as the member convener.

    The state government created this committee after receiving recommendations from the Language and Culture Department. The ‘Kaloji Narayana Rao Award’ is named in honor of the famous people’s poet, Kaloji Narayana Rao, who also received the Padma Bhushan award.

    This award is given every year to a respected literary figure. It comes with a commemorative plaque and a cash prize of ₹1,01,116.
