Hyderabad: The Telangana government has begun a study to learn more about fish farming and sales methods in Karnataka. This effort is aimed at improving Telangana’s aquaculture industry.
A team of officials from Telangana, led by Fisheries Chairman Mettu Sai, will be visiting Karnataka for three days. Their tour starts today and will last until the 13th of this month.
The main goal of the study is to understand successful fish farming techniques and sales strategies used in Karnataka. Telangana hopes to adopt some of these methods to improve its own fish farming practices.
This visit is part of a larger plan by the Telangana government to introduce a new policy that will help boost the local aquaculture sector. The government aims to increase fish production and make it easier for fish farmers to access markets.
The new policy is also expected to promote sustainable growth in the fisheries sector and create more job opportunities for local fish producers.
