The Telangana High Court has given important instructions regarding Vinayaka immersion in Hyderabad. It has stated that PoP idols should not be immersed on Tank Bund. The court has advised the government to fulfill its previous promise and build artificial pools for idol immersion.
The court has instructed the Commissioner of Police to make the necessary arrangements and take appropriate action for the immersion of PoP idols. It has also demanded a report on the implementation of these arrangements. The High Court has reemphasized that PoP idols in Hyderabad should be placed in specially arranged pools instead of being immersed in Tank Bund.
