Hyderabad – As part of the upcoming Telangana Formation Day celebrations on June 2, BRS MLC K. Kavitha is leading a special event to spotlight young poetic talent. Her cultural group, Telangana Jagruti, will host a Young Poets’ Meet to honor Telangana’s vibrant culture and history.
Kavitha recently launched the official poster for the event at the Telangana Saraswat Parishad. She shared that the goal is to promote the unique way of life in Telangana and inspire literary interest among the younger generation.
The event is open to poets aged below 35 years. Participants can express themselves in Telugu, Hindi, English, or Urdu. Those interested must send their details to kavitha.telangana@gmail.com by May 26 to register.
Kavitha encouraged young writers to focus on themes related to the Telangana movement, including both its early and recent phases. She urged them to reflect the spirit of resilience and pride that defines the state’s journey.
This poetic gathering aims to blend creativity and culture, giving young voices a platform to celebrate Telangana’s identity through powerful words.
