    The Telangana Congress party celebrated the fulfillment of their promise to waive off agricultural loans in the state. The celebrations were attended by party leaders and supporters, marking a proud moment for the Congress party.

    The loan waiver scheme was announced by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in December last year to provide relief to distressed farmers burdened by debts. The government waived off up to Rs. 2 lakh of outstanding loans for each eligible farmer.
