Telangana Government plans to tackle the shortage of medical staff by hiring 1,623 specialist doctors. A recent notification reveals the recruitment of 1,616 doctors for Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad hospitals and 7 doctors for RTC hospitals.
Applications open from September 8 to September 22. This hiring will boost the number of specialists in these hospitals, enhancing healthcare services in district and community health centers. The effort focuses on making specialty healthcare accessible in rural regions.
Previously, the government filled about 8,000 positions in the health sector and is currently recruiting for an additional 7,000 roles.
