Official data on economic activity per capita reveals that Telangana has emerged as a strong performer across multiple economic sectors when compared to other Indian states. The figures, measured in USD, showcase the state’s diverse economic base and its competitive positioning in key industries.

The state’s services sector stands out prominently with a per-capita economic activity of $3,078, placing it among the top-performing states in this category. This sector has been a major driver of Telangana’s economic growth, reflecting the state’s strength in information technology, business services, and related industries.

In the trade and repair segment, Telangana records $929 per capita, marking the highest figure in this category among all listed states. Additionally, the state leads in real estate, dwellings, and professional services with a per-capita figure of $1,088, again ranking as the top state in this combined category.
