The Telangana government has introduced a comprehensive digital solution for residents and tourists through the Mee Ticket App, which consolidates multiple booking services on a single platform. Developed under the MeeSeva initiative, the application allows users to book bus and metro tickets, purchase entry passes for temples, parks, museums, and forest safaris, and locate electric vehicle charging stations. The app aims to eliminate long queues at ticket counters and provide seamless access to various services directly from mobile phones.
The application has recorded significant growth since its launch, with over 2.5 lakh downloads and more than 6 lakh services booked through the platform. Users have completed transactions worth over ₹4 crore, demonstrating strong adoption among citizens. The service is currently available across 219 locations throughout Telangana, covering major tourist attractions including Golconda Fort, various temples, parks, and museums.
The Mee Ticket App offers a range of features designed to enhance the travel experience for families and individuals. Users can book metro and bus tickets in advance, purchase entry tickets for popular destinations, and plan both indoor and outdoor activities without the hassle of standing in long queues. The app also includes a feature to locate nearby EV charging stations, catering to the growing number of electric vehicle users in the state.
IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu announced that additional services will be integrated into the platform to further expand digital access for citizens. The government is working to bring more tourist destinations and transportation services under the app’s umbrella, making it a comprehensive solution for all travel and tourism-related bookings in Telangana.
MeeSeva Commissioner T. Ravi Kiran has actively encouraged citizens to download and utilize the app for hassle-free bookings. The commissioner highlighted that the platform represents a significant step toward digital transformation in the state, making government services more accessible and user-friendly. The initiative aligns with Telangana’s broader vision of becoming a digitally empowered society.
The app is available for download on mobile devices and continues to add new features and locations to its network. MeeSeva Commissioner T. Ravi Kiran stated that the platform will continue to evolve based on user feedback and the growing needs of citizens, ensuring that more services are brought online to reduce physical queuing and improve the overall experience of accessing public services and tourist attractions.
