Telangana is bracing for another round of intense heatwave conditions as meteorological authorities have issued a Heatwave 2.0 alert for multiple districts across the state. Several districts are expected to experience scorching temperatures ranging between 44-45°C, prompting concerns for public health and safety. The alert marks the beginning of what could be another challenging period for residents as summer intensifies across the region.

The highest temperatures between 44-45°C are forecasted for Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagitial, Mancherial, Bhupalapally, Kamareddy, Peddapalli, Mulugu, and Bhadradri-Kothagudem districts. These areas are expected to bear the brunt of the extreme heat conditions during this phase of the heatwave. Meanwhile, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Khammam, Suryapet, Gadwal, Wanaparthy, Siddipet, and Warangal districts are likely to witness temperatures between 43-44°C, creating uncomfortable and potentially dangerous conditions for outdoor activities.

The state capital Hyderabad is also not spared from the severe heat, with temperatures expected to range between 41-43°C. The mercury levels in the city are set to cause significant discomfort to residents, particularly those working outdoors or without access to adequate cooling facilities. The heatwave conditions are expected to affect daily life across the capital region, with authorities monitoring the situation closely.

Health officials typically advise residents to stay indoors during peak afternoon hours, remain hydrated, and avoid direct sun exposure during heatwave conditions. Vulnerable populations including children, elderly citizens, and outdoor workers face heightened risks during such extreme temperature events. The alert serves as a crucial warning for districts across Telangana to prepare for the intense heat conditions expected in the coming days.
