Bhadradri Sri Rama Temple Priest Denies Donation Allegations
Bhadrachalam: On Wednesday, Padmanabhacharyulu, the chief priest of the Bhadradri Sri Rama Temple in the USA, addressed the media regarding recent accusations. He denied claims made by Bhadradri Temple authorities that the US-based temple was collecting donations using the name of the Bhadradri Temple.
Padmanabhacharyulu explained that many people across India have built shops, temples, and organizations under the name of Bhadradri. The US organization, he said, is also constructing a temple with good intentions, using the name Bhadradri. He further clarified that the construction of the US temple began with permission from Bhadradri Temple authorities. Rituals were performed at Bhadrachalam, and idols were taken from there for installation at the new temple in the US.
He expressed confusion over why the Bhadradri Temple authorities, who had not raised any objections over the past nine years, are now accusing the US temple of improperly collecting donations. Padmanabhacharyulu also mentioned that the Bhadradri Temple authorities had not secured any legal rights or patents on the name “Bhadradri” or the images of the deities. Additionally, he pointed out that the names of the temples in the US and Bhadrachalam are different.
