    Tensions have risen in Lagacherla due to allegations that leaders from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) have incited unrest among landless poor citizens. Authorities have started investigating these claims and are working to identify the individuals responsible for the disturbance. The police have promised to take strict action against those involved.

    Minister Pongulati addressed the situation publicly, stating that the government will not tolerate such actions. He assured that anyone who has committed wrongdoings will face consequences. Pongulati emphasized that strict measures will be taken against those who are found to be instigating the unrest.

    In addition to addressing the unrest, Pongulati also spoke about the government’s support for farmers in the region. He confirmed that the state government will implement a complete loan waiver for eligible farmers by December. He also mentioned that Rs. 13,000 crore, the remaining balance of financial support, will be released soon. Furthermore, the Minister announced that an instalment under the Rythu Bharosa scheme will be released shortly to support farmers.
