During the event, Shankar highlighted Nehru’s role in shaping modern India through his initiatives, such as the Five-Year Plans. The MLA further praised Nehru’s leadership style, noting that his peaceful governance continues to serve as an inspiration for today’s youth. Shankar mentioned that Nehru’s values still guide the governance in Telangana today.

In his speech, Shankar also criticized past governments for neglecting key sectors. He emphasized that under the current Congress government, led by Chief Minister Revanth, various sectors are being revitalized.

Addressing educational reforms, Shankar revealed that the government has undertaken significant steps, such as forming an Education Commission with experts. Teacher transfers, promotions, and new appointments are also part of the reforms aimed at providing a better future for children.

He added that the government has introduced Integrated Residential Schools in every constituency to offer quality education to underprivileged students.
