Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy noted that Telangana and the United States share similarities in their spirit, fostering a special friendship. During the US Independence Day event in Hyderabad on Friday, he warmly greeted American citizens.
Around 200 American companies in IT, pharma, defense, manufacturing, and aerospace are already in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister stated that efforts are ongoing to enhance trade ties between the US and Telangana. The goal is to reach a 1-trillion US dollar economy by 2035 and 3-trillion US dollars by 2047 under the ‘Telangana Rising’ vision. He emphasized the importance of US support in achieving these targets, noting that many students from Telangana pursue dreams in America.
Revanth Reddy expressed hope for Hyderabad’s further development, aiming to integrate the best of America into Telangana. He highlighted America’s dedication to improving diplomatic relations with India and the strong bonds formed between Telugu people and Americans.
The Telugu language is gaining popularity in America. The Chief Minister stressed the need for the strategic partnership between the US and India to grow based on mutual trust and shared values. Both nations aim to expand trade, commerce, investment, and democracy while promoting world peace.
He urged for increased cooperation in military and space research. Remarkably, both countries have achieved significant trade milestones in the technology sector. Jennifer Larson, Consul General in Hyderabad, plays a crucial role in strengthening commercial relations and connecting the cultures and people of the two nations.
