Hyderabad: In a shift towards more transparent evaluation of state ministers, the 19th Cabinet meeting, led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, reviewed each department’s performance at the Secretariat. For the first time, the ministers’ performance over the 18 months of the Congress government was officially documented. The Cabinet assessed each department’s adherence to an action plan based on previous decisions. Although all ministers aimed to meet government targets, some, like Bhatti, took extra steps. Bhatti, also the Deputy Chief Minister, excelled in crafting significant energy policies, negotiating agreements for solar and hydel power, and securing financial resources.
