Hyderabad: The new AICC Telangana in-charge, Meenakshi Natarajan, has instructed party leaders to avoid publicly criticizing each other. She warned that those who share internal party matters, especially on social media, will face disciplinary action.

During her review meetings with leaders from different Assembly constituencies, Natarajan emphasized that party issues should be discussed only in official meetings. She also warned constituency in-charges that they could be replaced if they fail to resolve internal conflicts.

At a review meeting for the Medak district, Patancheru constituency in-charge Kata Srinivas Goud raised concerns about ongoing disputes with MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy. He pointed out that the Aadi Srinivas committee had failed to submit a report on the matter to the PCC. Srinivas Goud also expressed frustration that defectors were being given power while loyal party workers were being sidelined.

Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha provided Natarajan with an update on the situation in Patancheru. Other leaders also complained that the BRS party was influencing the implementation of government schemes, leaving Congress leaders feeling isolated. Natarajan asked Rajanarsimha to address these issues.

Additionally, Natarajan instructed Rajanarsimha to focus on the Gajwel and Siddipet constituencies, categorizing them as “special areas” for the party. She held a separate meeting with him to discuss these matters further.

The new AICC in-charge also clarified that nominated positions in the party would only be given to those who have been loyal workers for more than a decade.
