Hyderabad: The Telangana Government is preparing a detailed plan to host the Miss World event in the state on a grand scale.
A high-level meeting was held on Tuesday, led by Special Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao. The State-Level Steering Committee met to carefully review and plan every detail of the event. The goal is to make sure the global event runs smoothly and highlights Telangana’s rich cultural heritage, modern infrastructure, and warm hospitality.
The committee discussed several important areas including event logistics, infrastructure, cultural programs, safety and security, global promotion, environmental sustainability, and coordination among departments.
They also talked about choosing top-quality venues, upgrading facilities, and improving transport and accommodation. The aim is to make the experience enjoyable for all participants, organizers, and visitors.
The event will feature cultural performances, displays of local art and crafts, and traditional cuisine. Visitors may also get a chance to explore historic sites like the Ramappa Temple and Golconda Fort. These efforts are meant to boost Telangana’s image as a tourist destination.
Security measures were also reviewed to ensure the safety of everyone involved. The committee discussed using the Miss World platform to promote Telangana globally through media partnerships, digital campaigns, and other promotions to attract tourists and investors.
K Ramakrishna Rao said, “Telangana is ready to welcome the world with open hearts and unmatched hospitality. This is a great chance to show our culture and development to the world.”
