The Telangana government has decided to start special classes in all government junior colleges to help students prepare for exams like EAPCET, NEET, and JEE. These classes will begin in the academic year 2024-25.
The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) announced on Friday that the State government has approved the plan to hold these classes. The goal is to better prepare students for these important entrance exams.
In addition to this, the government has approved the creation of an Academic Guidance, Training, and Placement Cell (AGTPC). This new cell will help guide students in their studies and career paths. To make this happen, junior lecturers and data entry operators will be temporarily assigned to assist until permanent staff is hired.
The Department of Intermediate Education (DIE) has been asked to send a proposal to the government. This proposal will request approval to create three new Junior Lecturer positions—one for general subjects and two for vocational courses—as well as three data entry operator positions for the AGTPC.
