    TGSRTC to Operate 6,432 Special Buses for Sankranti

    The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has announced plans to run 6,432 special buses for the Sankranti festival this year. These buses will be available to passengers from January 9 to January 15.

    Last year, the corporation initially planned to operate 4,484 special buses but ended up running 5,246 buses due to the high passenger demand. To better meet the needs of travelers this year, the number of special buses has been significantly increased.

    Additionally, free bus transport will be provided for women in Palle Velugu express, city ordinary, and metro express buses during Sankranti. This initiative is part of the State government’s Mahalaxmi scheme.

    Passengers who wish to book tickets in advance for the special buses can do so on the official website, www.tgsrtcbus.in. For more details, travelers can also contact the RTC call center at 040-69440000 or 040-23450033.
