The Chief Minister of Telangana believes that the Telangana Model should be used across the country and is confident that his party, TRS, will win the upcoming elections. An astrologer named Rudra Karan Partaap predicted that the current government led by K. Chandrashekhar Rao will be re-elected in Telangana. He had correctly predicted in March that Congress would become the single largest party in Karnataka in May.
In the previous Assembly polls in December 2018, TRS won an absolute majority and their tenure is due to end by December 2023. The Chief Minister believes that his party treats all sections of society equally and that politics should be based on people’s issues rather than petty matters.
