The Premier Handball League’s First Season to be Held in Jaipur in 2023

The first season of the Premier Handball League will take place from June 8 to 25 at the Sawai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur. Six teams, including Rajasthan Patriots and Delhi Panzers, will compete against each other on a Teraflex handball surface. The stadium has also hosted Pro Kabaddi League matches since 2014 and is owned by the Rajasthan State Sports Council. The inaugural season will be broadcast on Viacom18, including JioCinema, Sports 18-1 (HD & SD), and Sports 18 Khel.

Krishna Poonia, an Olympian and president of the Rajasthan State Sports Council, expressed her excitement for the event. She believes that the Premier Handball League will provide a platform for players to showcase their talents and elevate the status of handball as a sport in India.
