Thota Srinivasa Rao, IPS, is the new Superintendent of Police (SP) in Jogulamba Gadwal district. When he arrived at the district police office, he was greeted with flowers by District DSPs Satyanarayana and Narender Rao, as well as a salute from AR police officials.
Rao, a 2007 batch Group-1 officer, has previously worked as DSP in Paderu and Janagama, and as Officer on Special Duty in Nandigama, Krishna District, and Kothagudem.
After being promoted to Additional SP and then SP while working in the State Intelligence Department, where he also served as SP and ADC to the Governor, Rao became an IPS officer in 2013. He later served as DCP of Cyberabad Traffic in CID and as Balanagar Law & Order DCP. Now, he has taken on the role of District SP in Jogulamba Gadwal district.
During the formalities of his new position, inspector officers and SSIs of the district also gave flowers to the new SP.
