Three people, including a 7-year-old girl, died in a fire at a house in Pasha Colony, Puppalguda, on Friday evening. The police believe that the fire was caused by a short circuit.

The fire started around 6 pm on the ground floor of a house owned by a man named Osman. Thick smoke quickly spread through the house, making it difficult to breathe. Three people—Jameela Khatoon (70), Suhana Khatoon (40), and Sijira Khatoon (7)—were trapped inside and died due to suffocation.

The fire then spread to the first floor, where three LPG cylinders exploded, making the situation worse. Locals immediately informed the police and fire department. Firefighters from Langar Houz arrived and, with the help of residents, rescued five people who were stuck on the first floor.
