Telangana state has received three awards in the fourth National Water Awards, announced by the Union Jal Shakti Ministry. Jagannadhapuram village panchayat of Bhadradri Kothagudem district was awarded the national best award, while Adilabad and Urdu University received the third and second positions respectively. The Vice President will present the awards to Telangana on 17th of this month in Delhi.
This achievement is significant for Telangana as the awards ceremony coincides with Telangana celebrations Palle Pragati day, which is part of the Telangana decennial celebrations.
