Residents of Golconda are worried about the deteriorating stone boundary railing near Moti Darwaza at the historic Golconda Fort. Locals have noticed stones falling from the railing, suggesting recent damage that may not be natural.

Some believe the damage could be caused by anti-social elements or individuals under the influence of drugs. There have been reports of construction debris being dumped near Moti Darwaza, leading to concerns about encroachment activities.

Despite authorities intervening to stop the dumping of debris, it is believed that the activity continues at various locations around the fort. This has raised questions about the effectiveness of monitoring mechanisms in place to protect the monument.
