Today marks the beginning of the evacuation of people from TS in Manipur, which has been struck by violence.

The Telangana government is taking action to protect students and residents from Telangana who are in Manipur, where there is a lot of violence. About 250 Telangana students are studying in Imphal and nearby areas. The government is arranging a special flight to bring them back to Hyderabad on Sunday. Telangana’s Chief Secretary has talked on the phone with the Chief Secretary of Manipur to make sure the students can leave safely. The Chief Secretary and Director General of Police from Telangana are working with Manipur officials to keep Telangana people safe.
