Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate 91 new FM transmitters across the country on April 28. Four of these transmitters will be located in Telangana State – in Nalgonda, Devarakonda, Ramagundam and Sirpur. Each transmitter covers a radius of 20 kilometers and will broadcast on the FM frequency of 100.1 MHz.
These transmitters will expand FM coverage in their respective areas and provide information and entertainment through AIR FM services. This is great news for the people living in these areas who will now have access to more radio programs.
