    NIA Conducts Raids in Several States, Targeting Gangsters, Smugglers, and Khalistani Network

    • The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids at dozens of locations in several Indian states, including Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, as part of a broader conspiracy investigation targeting the nexus of gangsters, smugglers, and Khalistani elements.
    • The raids aim to dismantle the network involved in violent activities, including targeted killings, attacks on government buildings, extortion, weapons and drug smuggling, and organizing anti-India activities abroad.

    Government hospitals in Telangana had a record-breaking month in April, with 69 percent of all deliveries taking place there. This is the highest percentage since the state was formed. Private hospitals recorded 31 percent of deliveries during the same period.

    A car accident near Konijarla in Khammam district resulted in the deaths of three people and serious injuries to one person. The deceased were a couple and their 13-year-old son. The accident occurred when the husband, who worked in Hyderabad, was driving his family to their hometown.

    Basara IIIT RGUKT has released an admission notification for a six-year engineering course. Eligible students can apply online from June 5 to 19, with candidates for certain quotas having until June 24 to apply. The merit list will be released on June 26, and selected applicants must report on July 1. Application fees are Rs. 500 for OC and OBC students and Rs. 450 for SC and ST students.

    Health Minister T Harish Rao praised KCR for his work for the working class, stating that KCR was the only leader in the country doing so. The KCR government provides outsourcing employees salaries on par with State employees. Harish accused the Centre of selling public sector units (PSUs) at throwaway prices to corporate houses.
