Hyderabad kicked off the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) 2025 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) on Friday. This event introduces fresh travel destinations, exclusive packages, and features top tourism boards and global Destination Management Companies (DMCs).
Over 150 exhibitors from more than 10 Indian states and 5 countries are participating in this two-day B2B event. With over 4,000 travel professionals, it provides significant networking opportunities and a chance to create new business partnerships ahead of the festive and winter seasons.
Jupally Krishna Rao, Minister for Tourism & Culture, Telangana, and Valluru Kranthi, Director of Telangana Tourism Development Corporation, attended the inauguration. Numerous travel industry leaders, association heads, and media representatives were also present.
Minister Rao announced a strategic plan for enhancing tourist destinations under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy‘s guidance. He mentioned an upcoming high-level tourism conclave in Telangana to boost investments and partnerships in the sector.
Tourism isn’t just about leisure, according to Minister Rao. It also supports job creation, investment growth, and infrastructure development. Under Chief Minister Reddy, a new tourism policy encourages investments and invites young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to join the tourism industry.
Minister Rao emphasized the need for better promotion of Telangana’s tourism resources. He invited stakeholders to partner in promoting and packaging Telangana’s attractions. As the host state, Telangana Tourism launched the Bathukamma Festival celebration at TTF Hyderabad.
The festival runs from September 21 to 30 across Telangana, beginning at the historic 1,000-Pillar Temple in Warangal. The Minister encouraged visitors to experience this vibrant festival and help share its beauty worldwide. States like Goa, Karnataka, Jammu & Kashmir, and others are also participating.
Prominent exhibitors include Mahindra Holidays, IRCTC, Cruise Carrot, and many more showcasing their best offerings.
Sanjiv Agarwal, Chairman and CEO of Fairfest Media Ltd., noted that TTF Hyderabad is crucial for South India’s travel trade, providing valuable connections. With over 150 exhibitors and 4,000 trade visitors, this event is set to boost business before the festive season.
