The Department of Tourism is launching innovative programs to create new opportunities in Telangana’s tourism sector. With Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s vision of making Telangana a notable name in global tourism, the focus is on development, branding, and promotion. Officials said Minister Jupally Krishna Rao is taking special steps to enhance and promote the state’s tourism.
Minister Rao shared that he was there to promote Telangana tourism with a comprehensive marketing campaign. He highlighted the unique culture and traditions of Telangana, along with its history, heritage, natural waterfalls, temples, eco-tourism, tribal tourism, and medical tourism. Despite these attractions, the region has lacked sufficient publicity. He stated that under the Congress government, Telangana tourism will reach new heights, with plans to provide modern infrastructure for both domestic and international tourists. Efforts include showcasing Telangana’s tourist spots at various airports, railway stations, and other locations across the country. Additionally, a new tourism department website will be launched soon.
