Three young women were at Thantadi Beach in Anakapalli district for a weekend trip when tragedy struck. While taking selfies, they slipped and were washed away by the sea. Despite the efforts of nearby fishermen, two of the women drowned. The women were identified as Nuka Ratnam and Kanaka Durga from Shettipalem village, while the third woman is in critical condition.
The incident has left their families devastated. The women were simply enjoying a day at the beach when the unfortunate accident occurred.
