Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Limited, a pharmaceutical company in Hyderabad, has launched Treprostinil Injection in the US market. This medicine is a generic version of Remodulin and has been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA). The injection comes in four different vials with varying doses: 20 mg/20 ml, 50 mg/20 ml, 100 mg/20 ml, or 200mg/20 ml.
Treprostinil injection is used as a prostacyclin mimetic for patients who need to transition from epoprostenol. This medicine helps reduce the rate of clinical deterioration.
