A new report by Animeta, a startup that supports digital creators, has revealed that over 10 lakh content creators in India are expected to earn at least Rs 41,000 a month in the next three years. This is due to a growth rate of over 115% for individual creators in India, which is much higher than the global growth rate of 18%.

In three years, 10 lakh creators in India will have around 100,000 followers/subscribers, growing at 37% annually. This will enable them to earn a steady digital income equivalent to a decent full-time job. Currently, more than 3,500 brands and over 5,000 creator partners are actively engaged in digital content creation in India. Over 20,000 branded content pieces have generated more than half a billion engagements.
