The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has recently cancelled three recruitment exams due to a question paper leak incident that occurred during the Assistant Engineers recruitment examination. The cancelled exams include the Group-I preliminary test, Assistant Executive Engineer posts in various engineering departments, and Divisional Accounts Officer posts.
The TSPSC has announced that the Group-I preliminary test will be conducted again on June 11th, and further details regarding the reconduct of other examinations will be announced shortly.
The decision to cancel the exams was made after a special meeting was convened by the Commission, which carefully examined the report of the special investigation team and an internal enquiry. The exams that were cancelled were held on October 16, 2022, January 22, 2023 and February 26, 2023 respectively.
It is important to note that some sections of the media have reported that the Junior Lecturers exam was postponed, but the dates were not announced previously. The TSPSC has clarified that this information is incorrect.
