The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) recently won five excellence awards in road safety, energy efficiency management, staff welfare, and use of technology for the year 2022–23. These awards were presented by the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU) at the National Public Bus Transport Excellence Awards ceremony in New Delhi.
During the ceremony, ASRTU President Anurag Jain presented the awards to a team of TSRTC officials led by TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar. TSRTC received awards in various categories including road safety, fuel efficiency management, urban services, staff welfare, and technology implementation.
One of the awards recognized TSRTC’s efforts in providing better service to passengers through technology. Sajjanar expressed pride in receiving these national-level awards and credited the 43,000 TSRTC members for their hard work in achieving this recognition.
Overall, these awards have enhanced the reputation of TSRTC and showcase the corporation’s commitment to excellence in various aspects of public bus transport.
