    Osmania University in Hyderabad celebrated International Women’s Day at the Non-Teaching Home with a special event on Friday. The event highlighted the importance of honoring and empowering women, and recognizing their contributions. G Kishan Reddy, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Development of the North Eastern Region of India, was the chief guest. Professor Karepally Sujatha from Shatavahana University emphasized the significance of commemorating International Women’s Day. G Kishan Reddy spoke about the Central government’s efforts to ensure 33% representation of women in key positions.

    Professor E Sudha Rani discussed the constitutional provisions and protections for women that were envisioned by Dr B R Ambedkar. She emphasized the ongoing need to fight for women’s rights.

    Overall, the event at Osmania University was a harmonious celebration of International Women’s Day, with speakers highlighting the importance of honoring and empowering women. Professor E Sudha Rani emphasized the need to continue fighting for women’s rights and protections.
