A group of 26 Japanese entrepreneurs recently visited IIT Hyderabad campus to learn more about India’s technology and entrepreneurship scene. The delegation included CEOs and presidents of different small and medium-sized businesses. Their goal was to explore the possibility of hiring Indian students in the future.
During their visit, the Japanese entrepreneurs were briefed on student recruitment and internship processes at IIT Hyderabad. The officials also encouraged them to consider hiring Indian talent. The delegation was introduced to the technological and research advancements at the institute, along with its international collaborations and joint efforts with Japan.
Discussions between both parties focused on potential areas of collaboration and mutual interests. The Japanese entrepreneurs showed great interest in various aspects of IIT Hyderabad, such as its education model, research specialties, collaborative projects with Japan, SIC, and the JICA FRIENDSHIP 2.0 Project. A senior officer at IIT Hyderabad highlighted the positive interactions during the visit.
