    State Government Enhances Facilities in Gurukul Schools

    The chairman of the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC), Patel Ramesh Reddy, announced that the state government is working hard to provide better facilities and nutritious meals in Gurukul schools. On Sunday, he visited the Kasturba Gandhi Minority Gurukul School in Imam Pet with State Education Commission member Charugonda Venkatesh to check on the amenities available for girl students. He praised the staff for maintaining cleanliness in the school.

    During his visit, Patel Ramesh Reddy highlighted the government’s commitment to supporting underprivileged communities. He said the state increased mess and cosmetic charges for government hostel students under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership. He also shared that the government is building integrated schools on 20 acres of land, offering facilities comparable to corporate schools, to benefit poor students.

    Additionally, he announced that he had adopted the Kasturba Minority School to support its development. As part of these efforts, he revealed plans to construct a compound wall for the school in partnership with Spread India and Suven Pharma at a cost of ₹7 lakh.

    Ramesh Reddy also inspected the school’s classrooms and kitchen and joined the students for lunch to personally experience the facilities.

    The event was attended by several officials, including Surya Pet District BC Welfare Officer Gamayya, SC Welfare Officer Latha, ST Welfare Officer Ramesh Naik, DEO Ashok, Gurukul School Special In-Charge Narayanamma, and DCDVO Poolan, among others.
