Hyderabad: Police have arrested two people from a gang that robbed a jewellery store in Hyderabad on August 12. This gang, from Bihar, planned to steal gold and diamond jewellery using guns. Deepak Kumar Sah, a local welding worker, helped them by arranging a place to stay in the city on July 31.
The gang checked out jewellery shops in Chandanagar before targeting Khazana Jewellers. With information from human sources and technology, police caught a gang member, Aashish Kumar Singh, in Maharashtra. On the day of the heist, six masked gang members entered the store, fired at a deputy manager, and stole about 10 kg of silver items, some coated with gold.
