Hyderabad: The Adolescent Health Academy aims to address increasing issues faced by adolescents aged 9 to 18. According to National Chairman Dr. Himabindu Singh, Organizing Chairperson Dr. Krishnamurthy, and Organizing Secretary Dr. S. Naunihal Singh, many young people today experience mental, physical, and digital challenges. The Academy in Telangana intends to guide them towards healthier paths.
On Thursday, the Academy team, including Organizing Treasurer Dr. N. Ravikumar and Secretary Dr. NL Sridhar, launched a brochure for the Central Zone Adolescent Conference set for July 12 and 13. Adolescents make up 25% of the country’s youth. Helping them overcome common adolescent issues can significantly aid the nation’s progress. Approximately 250 pediatric doctors from the Central Zone states will attend this event, discussing 70 topics. Moreover, the five Adolescent Zones across the country have designated the 18th of every month as Youth Wellness Day.
