Two Fire Incidents Reported in Hyderabad: Rajendranagar Godown and Secunderabad Pan Shop
Hyderabad experienced two separate fire incidents on Friday, one in Rajendranagar and another in Secunderabad. While there were no casualties, both incidents resulted in property damage.
Fire at Rajendranagar Online Cloth Store
A fire broke out in a godown of an online cloth store in Erraguda, Rajendranagar, located on the city’s outskirts. Authorities suspect the fire was caused by a short circuit. Local residents spotted thick smoke coming from the godown and quickly informed the fire department and police.
Firefighters worked for nearly two hours to bring the blaze under control. The godown, filled with cloth materials, caused dense smoke to spread across the area, worrying nearby residents.
The estimated property loss is around Rs 5 lakh. The Rajendranagar police have registered a case and are continuing their investigation.
Pan Shop Fire Near Taj Tristar in Secunderabad
In a separate incident, a fire erupted in a pan shop near Taj Tristar Hotel in Secunderabad. Officials suspect the fire started due to a lamp left burning overnight on Thursday.
Firefighters arrived promptly and managed to extinguish the flames before they could spread. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident.
The Mahankali police have started an inquiry to determine the exact cause of the fire.
Both incidents highlight the importance of fire safety measures and prompt action by emergency services in preventing further damage.
