Hyderabad: Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan praised the Telangana Police for their effective implementation of New Criminal Laws (NCLs) and their work in controlling narcotics. During his visit to Hyderabad, he reviewed how these laws are being applied in the state.
State Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao, Special Chief Secretary (Home) Ravi Gupta, Director General of Police Dr. Jitender, and other senior officers participated in the meeting. The DGP and top officials informed the MHA team about the progress in transitioning, training, and technology improvements for enforcing the NCLs.
